Few days are left for Durga Puja. Preparations are on full swing. The pandals are almost done. Artists are all set to deliver beautiful idols in different parts of the city. Markets are crowded with people but wait, Are you ready? Even if you have not prepped yourself up, here are four glam looks you can opt for, this festive season.


LOOK 1 – For Saptami, lets create a fresh look. A combination of yellow and pink would be a great pick for all the girls out there. These colours are vibrant and helps to create a fresh look. A yellow dress with pink floral motif, paired with nude heels, a pair of gladiators and a smart watch will create an ideal look. White shirt and black jeans are the best combination for guys. White shirt with small prints can also be a good option to go for. Accessorizing the look with a smart watch, a belt and a good pair of shoes, will upgrade the look.

LOOK 2 - Ashtami is all about Pushpanjali ( a special prayer offered to the Goddess) and Pandal Hoping in traditional outfits with friends and loved ones. Girls can opt for Lehenga Choli of any colour of their choice and pair it with oxidized earrings and traditional juttis to glam up their look this pujo. A kurta paired with jeans or classic pajamas can be an ideal traditional look for guys.

LOOK 3 - Navami is the second last day of the festival and people try to visit most pandals in the city and eat good food. For this day girls can go for a long skirt and pair it with a crop top and a long shrug. A potli bag ,pair of jhumkas and Juttis will amplify the look. Guys can wear Chinos with a basic t-shirt and a denim shirt. A pair of loafers , bracelet and watch will add to the look.

LOOK 4 - Vijaya Dashami is the day when Goddess Durga leaves her maternal place after her stay. On this day, we bid farewell to her and wait for the calendar to turn. Vijaya Dashami is also about Sindoor Khela ( playing with vermilion as a part of a ritual). Red is considered auspicious according to the Hindu culture. Therefore, red would be an ideal colour to wear on this day. Girls can wear a red saree and guys can go for a red kurta. girls can accessorize their look with heavy golden ornaments and guys can go for a golden wrist watch.
